The phone integration for Claap allows you to import recorded Ringover calls into Claap automatically. The connection relies on three elements: a Ringover API key, a Webhook Key linked to the Call Event, and a Webhook URL generated by Claap that must be entered into Ringover. Claap requires authorised access to call events in order to retrieve recorded conversations a few minutes after they end.

The API key is generated directly from your Ringover Dashboard, in the API section. You need to create a new API Key, select the relevant profile, assign it a name, and enable Monitoring as well as all Read permissions.

The webhook automatically sends Ringover call data to Claap once the call is completed. Claap provides a Webhook URL, which must then be pasted into the After-Call Work section of the Call Event in Ringover. This is the step that actually triggers the automation.

Once the integration is activated, calls recorded in Ringover are imported into Claap within minutes after the conversation ends, provided they meet the minimum duration set in the configuration. For sales teams, this delay is short enough to access the transcription before a follow-up, CRM update, or manager debrief.

Yes. In the integration settings, you can define a minimum import duration. By default, it is set to 2 minutes, but you can choose no minimum, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes. This setting has real operational impact. If the threshold is too high, you may miss shorter calls that still contain valuable insights, especially in prospecting. If it’s too low, you may import many low-value interactions.

CRM synchronisation is automatically triggered if a CRM is already connected to Claap and if the contact information detected in Ringover matches a contact stored in the CRM.
